Carey A. Bowen, Licensed Hearing Aid Specialist

Carey Bowen, LHAS has an impressive background specializing in Adult Hearing Loss working with professional practices over the past 16+ years.  He is currently a board member of the Florida Hearing Society.  FHS promotes goodwill, education, and high standards in the hearing profession, upholding ethical guidelines and relevant statutes.

He received his Degree from Eastern State College in 1992 and his Professional Dispensing License from the Florida Board of Hearing Aid Specialists. Carey has also been trained in Live Speech Mapping, Real Ear Measurement, Deep Canal Impressions, and is proficient with all Audiometric equipment to service your hearing needs.

Carey Bowen is a 4th generation Florida Native. He was born and raised on the East coast and resided in Tampa, Florida for 7 years before moving to Inverness. Carey and Sandra were married in 2020 just before they acquired the hearing clinic and were excited to make the move. Carey was a member of the United States Air Force, and he received the USAF Medal of Achievement in 1991, the 1st Oak Leaf Cluster in 1992 and served the USAF Honor Guard performing 27 details.

In his free time, Carey enjoys spending time with his Wife Sandra, playing golf, tennis and watching college football. Carey and Sandra are members of the Downtown Inverness Rotary and enjoy helping with local projects that improve the community. They were also founding members of the now retired, Gasparilla Charity: The Krewe of Sir Francis Drake. The Krewe's parade float was the First ADA compliant float in the United States. The float was designed to provide disabled Veterans and children a way to enjoy and participate in parades by having a wheelchair lift and handicap bathroom aboard.
